Section Coordinators

SECTION COORDINATORS are responsible for assisting the Summer Camp and Program Directors with the planning, preparing and leading all of Camp Fircom’s Summer Camp sessions. As well, this position works in collaboration with the Summer Camp Director to coordinate the behind the scenes logistics that lead to a successful overall camper, volunteer and staff experience. These are full-time positions during the summer months (June 16 to August 15). As such, the successful candidates are required to live on site during this time period. During the spring and fall months, these positions may have the opportunity to be employed on a casual part-time basis, with work hours dependent upon staffing needs.
DATES: Summer Start date - June 12, 2026; End Date - August 14, 2026
During the spring and fall months, the successful candidate is expected to be available to work during the following sessions: Easter Family Camp: April 3-6, 2026, Queer Family Camp: May 15-18, 2026, Dad & Kids Camp: June 12-14, 2026, Fircom Outdoor School: June 15-20,2026 Summer Family Camp: September 4-7, 2026, as well as two option sessions: Circle of love: February 13-16, 2026 and Spring Break Camp: March 15-20, 2026. On-site training:
● Friday, June 12 (evening) - Sunday, June 14 (afternoon)
● Thursday, June 25 (evening) - Tuesday, June 30 (afternoon)

CIT Coordinator
The CIT Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Summer Camp Director with the planning, preparing and leading all of Camp Fircom’s CIT sessions. As well, this position works in collaboration with the Summer Camp Director to coordinate the behind the scenes logistics that lead to a successful overall camper, volunteer and staff experience. This includes: training staff on how to appropriately utilize CITs and provide appropriate and responsive supervision and care CIT campers; organizing arrival and departure days for Summer Camp sessions, with a specific focus on the CIT campers; review and edit CIT schedules as needed, participating in daily and weekly staff meetings; collaborating with the Camp and Program Directors to plan the structure of Junior CITs’ camp experience during Mom & Kids sessions; supervising, supporting, and giving feedback to CITs; and, collaborating with the Camp and Program Directors to plan Senior CIT activities and programs during Kids camp sessions.
This is a full-time position during the summer months (July 13 to August 15). As such, the successful candidate is required to live on site during this time period. Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Program Director with the planning, preparing and leading of all of Camp Fircom’s recreation activities that set Camp Fircom apart as a Summer Camp destination. As well, this position works in collaboration with the Program Director to coordinate the behind the scenes logistics that lead to a successful overall camper, volunteer and staff experience. This includes: training staff to lead games, songs and recreation and team-building activities; organizing arrival and departure days for Summer Camp sessions; creating activity schedules for all Summer Camp sessions; conducting daily inspections and maintenance of programming space: and, ensuring the maintenance of all recreational equipment and replacement of damaged recreational equipment.
This is a full-time, 40+ hour position during the summer months (June 16 to August 15). As such, the successful candidate is required to live on site during this time period. During the spring and fall months, the successful candidate is expected to be available to work during the following sessions: Easter Family Camp: April 3-6, 2026, Queer Family Camp: May 15-18, 2026, Dad & Kids Camp: June 12-14, 2026, Fircom Outdoor School: June 15-20,2026 Summer Family Camp: September 4-7, 2026, as well as two option sessions: Circle of love: February 13-16, 2026 and Spring Break Camp: March 15-20, 2026.
